Founded in Vilnius in 2022 by Andrius Rupšys, Hive Finance Group began with the launch of Ekspres Pożyczka in Poland and the Hive5 investment marketplace. Expansion into Spain and Romania followed, and in 2024 we recorded our first consolidated annual profit.

How our Group works

1. Group headquarters

The Group team in Vilnius sets strategy, launches new businesses and shares expertise in risk, technology, finance and operations.
2. Local lending companies

Firmeo, Ekspres Pożyczka, FinJet and Credilink are run by local teams and issue loans to individuals and small businesses in their markets.
3. Hive5 investors

On the Hive5 marketplace, investors fund loans issued by Group companies and earn interest, giving the lenders capital to grow.

2022
Hive Finance is founded
Andrius Rupšys starts the Group in Vilnius. Hive5 launches, and the first lending company, Ekspres Pożyczka, opens in Poland.
2023
Growth and a second market
Ekspres Pożyczka breaks even six months after launch, Hive5 passes €10M in funded loans, and FinJet brings the Group to Spain.
2024
First year of profit
Revenue more than triples to €11.5M and the Group closes its first profitable year on a consolidated basis.
2025
Part of Ruptela Group
Ekspres Pożyczka starts financing itself, Credilink prepares to launch in Romania, and Ruptela Group becomes a shareholder.
2026
A new leadership team
Krisjanis Znotins becomes Group CEO, a new COO and CRO join, and Artis Pukitis is appointed CEO of Hive5.
